Service Providers

Hideaway Harbor is located within the geographical boundary of the City of Shreveport, with city services provided to our neighborhood.

POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT SERVICES
Provided by the City of Shreveport.  If you have an emergency, dial 911 from a phone to contact emergency services.  Both the Police and Fire Departments have access to our gate for after hour's access.  Non-Emergency Numbers for the various departments can be found in the phone book or on their department websites.

 

WATER AND SEWAGE UTILITIES
Provided by the City of Shreveport.  As a homeowner, you pay for your water and sewage services directly to the City of Shreveport.  Shreveport Water Services website is http://www.ci.shreveport.la.us/dept/water/custsrv.htm

GARBAGE PICK UP
Curbside Garbage pick up is included as part of your water and sewage bill and the City of Shreveport will provide you with a 50 gallon container on wheels for your use.  Garbage pick up is once a week and occurs on THURSDAY, except when this is effected by published holidays. 

ELECTRICAL UTILITIES
Southwestern Electric Power Company, a division of AEP is the area power provider.  As a home owner, you must contact and set up your account with them to obtain electrical power.  Their website can be found at https://www.swepco.com/Default.aspx

NATURAL GAS UTILITY
CenterPoint Energy is the local natural gas provider.  As a home owner, you must contact and set up your account with them directly if you home requires natural gas as a utility.  Their website is at                                 http://www.centerpointenergy.com/services/naturalgas/residential/LA/

TELEPHONE SERVICES
Through deregulation, telephone services are available from a number of different carriers, and the association is unable to provide you with a complete listing of all the choices, suggesting that you investigate your own options.  Locally, wire line service is provided by the former BellSouth Company, now a part of the ATT network, although there are many options for you to choose from.

INTERNET SERVICES
As with Telephone services, your choice is quite varied with DSL service being provided by a number of telephonic carriers, depending upon your telephone exchange.  There are several wireless carriers as well in the area.  Cable Internet services are provided by Comcast, explained below.

CABLE TV
Comcast has the local cable franchise for the City of Shreveport and provides cable services for television and other online services including internet services.  As a homeowner, you must set your own account up if you choose to utilize their services.  Their website is http://www.comcast.com/
